ISPY: Name and occupation?
ANAIS: My name is quinn, though you may know me as anais. I am a hairstylist and pretend writer.

ISPY: What type of music do you listen to?
ANAIS: I’ll always have a soft spot in my heart for cheesy long island screamo (on the might of princes, niel perry, malady, etc.), new wave kinda stuff (’til tuesday, talking heads, joy division, bowie) rock kinda stuff (the stooges, led zeppelin, queen), electro dance i guess is what you would call it (sohodolls, css, yeah yeah yeahs) and hip hop (o.d.b., ludacris, missy elliot, method man).

ISPY: What would be the perfect date for you?
ANAIS: Show up with a joint and push me down a grassy, flowery hill.

ISPY: Any Stalkers that you’ve had to deal with?
ANAIS: Only a 16 year old that works at a sandwich shop near my salon. It has nothing to do with my web nudity though. and he really just follows me around the parking lot sometimes…

ISPY: Classic car or exotic car? Why?
ANAIS: Classic car. I love the fins on the back ends, how humongous they are, and the defined headlights. could definitely use a black convertible ‘57 corvette and a loooong long drive.

ISPY: Whats a typical weekend like for you?
ANAIS: Smoking ridiculous amounts of pot, writing, taking pictures, hanging out with a werewolf. Every now and then I’ll venture downtown for a few drinks with friends.

ISPY: What do you love about being a Gods Girl?
ANAIS: The community is really great. I’ve met some of my favorite people through godsgirls, and become closer to some people I had known for years prior. the content is consistent and amazing; it’s comforting to know you’re a part of something that has integrity, originality and big personality.

ISPY: Do you have any tattoos?
ANAIS: I have 8 tattoos. every item in the tattoo on my upper right arm is a symbol for a member in my family, my chest is my profession (jolly rodger with scissors instead of crossbones) and the view-master is my metaphysics dedicated tattoo.

ISPY: Chuck Taylor or high Heels?
ANAIS: High heeled scrunchie booties.

ISPY: A moment in your life you are most proud of?
ANAIS: Recently clients of mine have been leaving notes for me about how much they love their hair. makes my day every time.

ISPY: Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?
ANAIS: Out of texas, 3 books of prose published, living surrounded by trees, drinking chai and writing in foliage shadows. with a badass couture hair portfolio, working with amazing photographers and fashion designers.
